Started a decade ago as a month long escape from the cold Colorado winters, two buddies went south to Costa Rica to explore and enjoy the warm whitewater there. That trip turned into multiple months and soon the buddies were spending every off season, between their summers of guiding whitewater trips in Northern Colorado, going to Costa Rica...

Kirk and Travis's passion for whitewater adventure continues to evolve and now they are happy to announce Green Frog Rafting. The goal behind Green Frog Rafting is to share with you the excitement and adventure of rafting in warm water and on spectacular rivers so that you too can discover the rush of excitement and beauty that these two felt their first time to the country and every time afterwards.

Although Kirk now runs the operation in Costa Rica and Travis is usually the guy you end up talking to when you call our US office you can rest assured that your personal guide on the river is just as experience and knowledgeable as the whitewater veterans that are behind the scene. Green Frog Rafting prides itself on only using the best and most experience guides in Costa Rica. You may notice our prices are a little higher then some of our competitors and that is because this extra money goes into getting and keeping the most knowledgeable guides in the country, period. That little bit extra goes a long way in providing you an adventure that you will never forget. We have yet to hear that one of our trips wasn't the best vacation a client has had to Costa Rica.
