Many exotic creatures live in the rain forest surrounding some of the best whitewater in the western hemisphere leaving any level of adventure fulfilled. Something for everyone - Green Frog Rafting provides amazing white water experiences for people of all ages and ability levels. Here are some of our amazing and unique white water experiences for your family or group:

• Class I Wildlife Floats through Cano Negro National Wildlife Refuge
• Class II introduction to whitewater on rivers like the Pejivalle River
• Class III-IV one-day and overnight trips on the world famous Pacuare River
  ( National Geographic named the Pacuare one of the top three river runs in the world).
• Kayak School - Learn the basics of White Water Kayaking including the Eskimo Roll before heading down the river in your own hard shell kayak.
• White Water Duckies - For those who want a bit more of a thrill than the raft but don't like the idea of an enclosed Kayak.
• White Water Kayaking - Let us show you the best play spots and run safety while you explore new rivers during your off-season.

What we provide -

Private Trips - We are not one of the giant companies out of San Jose that herd hundreds of tourists down the river like cattle. We only do smaller, more exclusive trips so that our clients get an up close and personal experience on the river.

Guides - Basically, it's your guide that will make the difference in your trip.  We have the best guides in the country for one simple reason, we pay well.  We get the most experienced, best trained, highly educated guides because we can hand pick them from all the available guides in the country. Our guides meet or, in most cases, exceed the required certifications. All guides are certified in CPR, First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, and Swift Water Rescue.   We carry extensive first aid kits in all vehicles, rafts and on all excursions. These measures are not required by the Costa Rican Government, but are the standards of Green Frog Rafting.

Equipment - Green Frog Rafting uses only the best rafts, lifejackets, helmets, etc. Additionally, our vehicles are new, well maintained and comfortable.

Meals - Most of our excursions include meals. The Pacuare River two-day, for example, provides lunch, dinner (and our famous Happy Hour) the first day and breakfast and lunch on the second day. Our river meals have become legendary over the years and some of our clients claim the meals with us are among the best of their whole trip!

Transportation (including shuttles) - Green Frog Rafting provides transportation to the river from almost anywhere in Costa Rica - fees will depend on where and number of clients.
